Can you say anticlimactic? That about sums up how I feel about my first OB appointment.
I talked to the billing department (not as bad I as feared), waiting for 40 minutes, peed in a cup, had blood drawn (better than usual), talked to the doctor, rescheduled, and left. Since I had a well-woman checkup in February, I didn't even have to get undressed or anything!
Things I learned:
1) Unless she is out of town for some reason, I will always see my doctor and she will be delivering my baby.
2) I will get one sonogram somewhere around 18-22 weeks, unless there are any problems. We will, however, have a doppler at each appointment after this. That means that we'll probably get to hear a heartbeat on May 13!!!
